Solar Cycle 25

TIME REMAINING UNTIL PEAK

The solar cycles happen every 9-11 years.  When they peak, so does our nervous systems and consequently our society at large.  Dips (where we are now in 2020) are where we are apathetic. Peaks (like the one we will experience in about 4 years) are where we engage in massive surges of construction (creativity, inventions) or destruction (wars and strife).

It is up to us in the coming years to create the environment for a positive outcome as we ride this wave upwards.  The Global Awakening Tracker charts the things we are doing to provide this springboard which can support us toward a renaissance. Our passion can create systems which create perpetual flourishing.

SOLAR CYCLE 25

According to Russian scientist A.L. Tchijevsky, 80% of the most significant human events occurred during the years surrounding each peak.

We are currently in Solar Cycle 25 at a low point with relatively small number of solar storms hitting the earth’s magnetic field. According to scientists studying the wolf number (number of dark spots on the sun which can cause explosions) and other factors, it’s cycle is starting now and is expected to peak around the year 2024 – ending the 9-11 year cycle around 2030.

This peak, is expected to be low comparatively (two years in a row), however when the sunspots are at a peak – so is humanity.  Our nervous systems rev up and we are prone to mass creativity (inventions and renaissance) or on the flip side toward mass conflict (wars and unrest).

This is similar to the way that hospitals schedule more nurses and doctors during the full moon. The difference is that this cycle is about every 11 years, not every month.

Research Papers have been written about how the geomagnetic activity have been an indicator of stock market returns.

Note, the last two solar cycles 24 and 25 are lower than solar cycle 22 and 23.

INDEX OF HUMAN MASS EXCITABILITY

In 1926, A.L. Tchijevsky, founded “heliobiology” (study of the sun’s electromagnetic activity effect on biology) and he constructed an “Index of Mass Human Excitability” report covering each year from 500 B.C. to 1922 A.D. He investigated the histories of 72 countries in that period, noting signs of human unrest such as wars, revolutions, riots, expeditions and migrations, plus the number of humans involved.

Tchijevsky found that fully 80% of the most significant events occurred during the years of maximum sunspot activity. He maintained that the “exciting” period may be explained by an acute change in the nervous and psychic character of humanity, which takes place at sunspot maxima.

Scientists have continued to analyze the Human Excitability Index since 1920, this chart shows solar cycle 23 and 24.

STOCK MARKET

Collins related 93 years of sunspot data to the trends of U.S. stocks over the same span and concurred that important stock market peaks consistently precede sunspot cycle maximums.

ELECTROMAGNETISM IN THE BODY

The electromagnetic field of the earth affects our blood pressure, pineal gland, heart rate, nervous system, mood and circadian rhythms. When the cycles are low, we are more apathetic, when the sunspots are high we are prone to wars, riots, extreme creativity, revolutions and inventions.

Research studies have examined relationships between solar and magnetic factors and the autonomic nervous system (ANS). Increase in solar wind intensity was correlated with increases in heart rate and parasympathetic activity, which we interpret as a biological stress response. “Neuroscientists at MIT have shown that they can influence people’s moral decisions by using magnets to disrupt neural activity in certain parts of the brain, for example, and research into Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation has shown that stimulating the brain with magnetic pulses can ease symptoms for everything from Alzheimer’s to depression. These findings suggest the human body and mind are not impervious to the effects of electromagnetism, a basic assumption in Tchijevsky’s theory.” (Source)

In Ion Cyclotron Resonance, energy is transferred from the time-varying electromagnetic field (such as that generated by the Sun) to an ion when the resonance frequencies of the ion and electromagnetic field align.  Ion cyclotron resonance has already been harnessed as a powerful tool for regenerative medicine, promoting stem cell growth for bone and heart repair. NASA became interested in PEMF because astronauts began experiencing depression once they were away for a long time from the magnetic field that the Earth emits. Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF), also known as Low Field Magnetic Stimulation (LFMS) uses electromagnetic fields in an attempt to heal the body. It supports the metabolism and blood flow, through the pulsating electromagnetic field. The oxygen partial pressure rises by 400 – 800% therefore all cells breath and function better and it increases the body’s self healing capacity.

HISTORY OF THE INDEX

“That sunspot cycle activity increased and decreased in a cycle of approximately 11 years was established in the 1750s when astronomers began to make the first charts of the numbers of sunspots over time. During World War I, A. L. Tchijevsky, a Russian professor of Astronomy and Biological Physics who continued his studies at the war front, noticed that particularly severe battles regularly followed each solar flare during the sunspot peak period of 1916-17.

To test his hypothesis that sunspot cycle influenced human activity, Tchijevsky constructed an Index of Mass Human Excitability covering each year form 500 BC to 1922 AD. He then investigated the histories of 72 countries during that period, noting signs of human unrest such as wars, revolutions, riots, expeditions and migrations, plus the numbers of humans involved.

Tchijevsky found that fully 80% of the most significant events occurred during the 5 years of maximum sunspot activity. (Tchijevsky’s merely noting that the 1917 Russian Revolution occurred during the height of the sunspot cycle earned him almost 30 years in Soviet prisons because his theory challenged Marxist dialectics.)

Tchijevsky divided the eleven year sunspot cycle into four social periods:

Period 1: (approximately 3 years, minimum sunspot activity). Peace, lack of unity among the masses, election of conservatives, autocratic, minority rule.

Period 2: (approx. 2 years, increasing sunspot activity). Increasing mass excitability, new leaders rise, new ideas and challenges to the elite.

Period 3: (Approximately 3 years, maximum sunspot activity). Maximum excitability, election of liberals or radicals, mass demonstrations, riots, revolutions, wars and resolution of most pressing demands.

Period 4: (Approximately 3 years, decreasing sunspot activity). Decrease in excitability, masses become apathetic, seek peace.

Solar activity has not only had negative affects of society, but has also been associated with collective growth and development such as architectural, artistic and scientific breakthroughs, as well as positive social change.” (Source)

WHAT IS A SUNSPOT?

A sun spot is a darker, cooler spot on the sun. Sunspots can be very large, up to 30,000 miles in diameter. They are caused by the sun’s magnetic field and when the pressure builds up they explode, releasing solar flares and big storms (coronal mass ejections) toward earth.  This causes the the aurora borealis to flare up and strong flares can knock out satellites, disrupt GPS systems, and fry electrical grids on Earth.

The sun’s gravity holds our entire solar system together, and these solar flares which push against our earth environment can affect our nervous system, pineal gland and even our society at large.

REPEATING PATTERN?

This graph compares the current solar progression (Solar Cycle 22-25 from 1986 to present) to that of the Dalton Minimum (Solar Cycle 3-6 from 1790 to 1830). The similarities are striking. (Source)
